simple but beautiful wedding gift...

hello, happy wednesday!

this is an a5 commission i made for a beautiful lady looking for something special to give her friend as a wedding gift. armed with the knowledge of where, when, and roughly the cut of the brides dress i came up with this. it was popped in a lovely glass on glass frame and hopefully wrapped in lots of bubble wrap!

handmade autumn wedding commission...

would you like to see another commission? this is an A4 commission i made for a lovely lovely lady in America. it was a gift for her husband of one year for their first wedding anniversary. they had a beautiful autumn wedding by candle light, i got to nose at their beautiful photos (take some notes) and even watch a sweet video of the day, this is what i made for them...

hello everybody, happy autumn!

this is an a4 wedding gift i was recently commissioned to make. i was asked to include the couple, their names and the date of the wedding. their friend wanted to give them a special reminder of their day, so we also included the location of the service and the reception...

give your grandparents a paper cut for their 50th wedding anniversary!

i was contacted by a lovely lady who saw the piece i made for my grandparents anniversary and was inspired to do something special for hers. she sent me some lovely photos of her grandparents on their wedding day, and a sweet story of how in one photo the wind blew the brides veil up into the air which they still laugh about to this day!

here is what i came up with...

a thoughtful gift for new God Parents...

this was an a5 piece i was commissioned to cut as a gift to thank some newly appointed God parents from their brand new God son, which is very thoughtful of the little guy!

celebrate your beautiful civil ceremony one year on...

this is an A3 commission i made for two very lovely ladies who wanted to celebrate their special day. they wanted to include their nearest and dearest, brighton pavilion, the special bunting they made themselves, fairy lights, and the beautiful lyles golden syrup tins with miniature roses, that they decorated with. this piece was such a pleasure to cut, and i was so pleased to learn they will be back in contact the next time they need to mark an occasion. my job is special!

'the road to a friends house is never too long' paper cut gift...

this was a piece i was commissioned to cut for an adventurous lady who is moving to Canada, to give to her best friend as a very thoughtful gift.

with lots of relevant images and symbols, the two women and their families, hopefully the distance between them will seem as small as in the cut!

midsummer garden party cut out...

these are my midsummer garden party hearts, they look just lovely in a frame. they are A5 and only £20 on etsy, thats alright isn't it?
this on is burgundy (even though it looks brown in the photo) it also comes in sky blue and pink...

what can i get my best friend for her wedding?

here is an A4 commission i made for a lovely lady who wanted to give her friend a special gift on her wedding day. it includes the church they were getting married in, their names, silhouettes, a nice quote, and a little hidden detail which celebrates a private joke between friends...

an uplifting fathers day gift...

this is a fathers day gift i was commissioned to make for a proper daddies girl. she asked me to include the names of all the family members in the balloons, a swing, football and a cat, all within a neat garden. i could point out that it could symbolise that his family uplifts the happy father, but i won't. i like it as it reminds me of UP, without all the crying...

a wedding gift full of things they love...

this is a recent wedding gift i was commissioned to make. i was asked to include all of their favourite things; being in the snowy mountains, snowboarding, their lovely dog, and of course, each other!
