this piece is an A3 hand drawn and hand cut  paper cut commission for a lovely lady who wanted something for herself for her birthday. she gave me a list of things, and particularly a list of plants that were important to her, which i then made into this...

this was an a5 piece i was commissioned to cut as a gift to thank some newly appointed God parents from their brand new God son, which is very thoughtful of the little guy!

here is a commission i made for a beautiful lady who wanted to give her boyfriend a thoughtful gift for their five year anniversary. it relives their lovely trip to paris, and a favourite poem...

'the road to a friends house is never too long' paper cut gift...

this was a piece i was commissioned to cut for an adventurous lady who is moving to Canada, to give to her best friend as a very thoughtful gift.

with lots of relevant images and symbols, the two women and their families, hopefully the distance between them will seem as small as in the cut!

here is an A4 commission i made for a lovely lady who wanted to give her friend a special gift on her wedding day. it includes the church they were getting married in, their names, silhouettes, a nice quote, and a little hidden detail which celebrates a private joke between friends...

an uplifting fathers day gift...

this is a fathers day gift i was commissioned to make for a proper daddies girl. she asked me to include the names of all the family members in the balloons, a swing, football and a cat, all within a neat garden. i could point out that it could symbolise that his family uplifts the happy father, but i won't. i like it as it reminds me of UP, without all the crying...

this is a recent wedding gift i was commissioned to make. i was asked to include all of their favourite things; being in the snowy mountains, snowboarding, their lovely dog, and of course, each other!

special gifts for special bridesmaids...

hello!

these are some commissions i made recently for a bride to be (who i can safely say is now happily married) to give as a gift to two special bridesmaids.

whilst they are both heart sharped with a couple of similar small requirements (which i'm sure you can find if look closely) she wanted to make each one as personal to each bridesmaid as possible...

happy first wedding anniversary!

this is a commission i was recently asked to make as a gift from a wife of one year, to her new husband for their anniversary. including the couple on their wedding day, the church they married in, and their combined children. (i love my job, people with similar tastes to myself send me their wedding photos for me to nose at, and i get to make them something special... and this pays for my non-stop food habit.)

i am informed they had a lovely anniversary, here's to many more...

give your mum a family tree for her birthday...

i'm happy to say, my family trees are becoming a bit of a favourite, here is a lovely one i was asked to make as a gift for a mothers 50th birthday. including a little detail to describe each person, an overgrown garden full of tulips and sunflowers, and a good old "stop watching repeats of that tv programme that is sometimes ok" type quote... the kind i need the most.
