paper cut mothers day card - made to order...

this is a commissioned mothers day card i made recently. it can be given as a card, but later framed and kept, so can also count as a gift, bonus.

a friend of mine wanted to give her mum something thoughtful. i was told her mum loved gardening and spinning her own wool, so this is what i came up with...

this is my first of a handful of cards i am designing for mothers day this year.

thankfully this is a fun task for me, as i happen to think my mum is awesome.

mums do so much for us, just to keep us alive, let alone to make us feel happy and safe, and eventually to keep us on the straight and narrow!

we should all show our thanks somehow...

when i look at the stars...

this is the first of a collection i am going to be making to go up for sale on etsy. it will mainly consist of things in my head that i try not to bring up in conversation.

this one describes the realisation i get when i look up at the stars (or watch Brain Cox), that in the grand scheme of things, we are all tiny, and whatever worries i may have, are so small, so worrying about them is pointless.

this is a piece i was commissioned to make for my lovely godmother, given free range i decided to base it on her beautiful "natural" garden...

i even got to wrap it up all nice for her...

i was asked to set the couple in the location of their wedding, they wanted me to create something natural looking and beautiful, with a bit of rustic charm.

handmade wedding card...

i made this wedding card commission last week, but had to wait till today to show you...

it was for a couple who share a love of nature and gardening, which was thankfully something i could relate to!

you can actually swing the couple on the swing by moving the card...
