paper cut commission for a romantic wedding gift...

this is a commission i cut recently for a lady to give as a gift to her good friend on her very stylish wedding day. i was told their lovely story, which i hope they don't mind if i share with you. The old flames re-met at Latitude and got back together. The next year they returned to Latitude as a very happy couple. Simon suggested they go for a walk, he took her to the lake stage where he had organised for Sara's favourite band Admiral Fallow to play her favourite song Four Bulbs, where he proposed...

paper cut mothers day card - made to order...

this is a commissioned mothers day card i made recently. it can be given as a card, but later framed and kept, so can also count as a gift, bonus.

a friend of mine wanted to give her mum something thoughtful. i was told her mum loved gardening and spinning her own wool, so this is what i came up with...

'thank you mum' paper cut mothers day card...

this is my first of a handful of cards i am designing for mothers day this year.

thankfully this is a fun task for me, as i happen to think my mum is awesome.

mums do so much for us, just to keep us alive, let alone to make us feel happy and safe, and eventually to keep us on the straight and narrow!

we should all show our thanks somehow...

'mum, thank you for looking after me'

yours for £8

if you are interested in a paper cut mothers day card (which can later be framed) please keep an eye out on my blog and etsy as more will be coming soon. OR if you have an idea of what you want, why not get one commissioned? if you have any questions please email me at

life is what you make it...

happy sunny monday everybody!

when its not this sunny, and i can't hear the birds singing to me, i often need a reminder as to why i should get out of bed, a pick me up, a kick in the right direction...

along with "it's a fool who plays it cool by making his world a little colder" from Hey Jude, this is my favourite (and the most successful)...

happy twenty first, the world is yours...

this is a piece i made for one of my favourite people who turned twenty one last week...

i wanted to describe how everything she has done up until this point was preparation for her brand new sparkly life, and now she can go enjoy it...

and where better to realise this (and generally be) than on a hill standing on a bench looking at the stars??

happy birthday pink!
